Kodak Black issued bars from behind bars.

Leave it to Kodak Black to create drama even when he was confined to a jailhouse.

Back in 2019, the South Florida-bred rapper’s camp uploaded a clip on social media of a Securus freestyle that the rapper released over a prison phone.

While it would normally have been an opportunity for the rapper to show that he’s still alive and active in the game, Kodak instead chose to shed some transgressions as well, as he made a direct reference to City Girls’ Yung Miami.

Check out the lines from Kodak highlighted below.

“I bought Yung Miami a ring, she wanted 808 baby When I see her I’ma hit that b*tch in her stomach/The way I keep my sh*t too real, they say I’m fu*king up my money.”

According to his words, Kodak was referring to the news that Yung Miami was pregnant with a baby for producer Southside, the leader of 808 Mafia.

Just as you would expect, the allusion to Southside’s future baby mother and unborn child didn’t go down well with him as the decorated beatmaker also took to Instagram to upload a clip in response.

“Hey, somebody tell Kodak suck a d*ck. How ’bout that? Get out of jail first, p*ssy,” he declared.

At the time, Kodak Black was behind bars for offenses related to providing false information when applying for a gun. The charges against Kodak were due to the fact that he was said to have checked “No” when asked on the form if he was currently under indictment for a crime and at that time Kodak Black was facing charges for allegedly raping a high school student in South Carolina. Although his attorney maintained that the rapper’s fault was due to a simple misunderstanding.

His attorney Bradford Cohen was quoted to have said, ”In general, I think some of these legal terms are misleading.”
